These pics were taken in October. The two above were taken at Mom's house. I took the boys to the Chattahoochee Valley Pumpkin Patch and these were their costumes. Jon David was a ninja, Luke was coach Saban, and Caleb was well, Caleb. Sometimes, it's just not worth fighting over a costume with a two year old.
Trick or treating
Notice that Caleb wore his costume today!
Caleb really got into it this year. So fun to watch our little elephant.
Sweet boy. There is some new construction in our neighborhood. Sadly, they even had to work on Halloween night. I wondered if they missed their families. They seemed to be mostly latin Americans. Anyway, Caleb passed by and yelled "tick O teet!!" The man kindly responded in a mexican accent "trrrrick orr (r twirling) trrrrrrrreet?" I sheepishly nodded, and then civilly attempted to steer Caleb on down the street. I guess he was expecting more candy? or a different response, because the next thing I knew, he was yelling at the top of his two year old lungs "Hey Man!!" And before he could explode with and new series of trick or treat repetitions, I finally succeeded in redirecting him towards the next house. Man! That kid does everything full out! Of course, in his defense, this did involve candy. I guess you have to take your candy very seriously.
Also, at one point, one of the homeowners handed out skittles. He refused to put the skittles in his bag, but wanted to hold on to them, and then eat them immediately.
The classic pose (Ninja, Saban, and elephant--or little AL if you want).
The more typical pose.
